Israeli Settlers desecrate a mosque in Dura and spread out in several areas southwest of Hebron
Today, Friday, settlers desecrated a mosque in Khirbet Marah al-Baqar in the town of Dura, amid chants in Hebrew, dancing and singing. They also spread out in the village of al-Alqa, south of Hebron, near citizens’ homes.
Local sources reported that a large group of settler gangs stormed the Marah al-Baqar settlement in the town of Dura and spread out in the mountains. The settlers also climbed the minaret of a mosque in the area, amid chants in Hebrew, dancing and singing.
The sources indicated that another group of settlers spread out in the Al-Alaqah area, "between the towns of Dura and Dhahiriya," which is the only road that citizens from Dhahiriya take to reach the town of Dura and the city of Hebron, after the occupation closed all roads in that area.
It is noteworthy that settler gangs have intensified their attacks on citizens and their property under the protection of the occupation army, especially recently during the olive harvest season.
