President Abbas: We are working to establish mechanisms to manage the Gaza Strip

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said, "We are working to establish mechanisms to administer the Gaza Strip under the jurisdiction of the State of Palestine and the PLO."

President Abbas called, before the Arab-Islamic summit held in Riyadh today, Monday, to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, the complete Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and the return of the displaced.

Abbas said: "The international community has failed to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip," noting that the Israeli attacks continue with the support provided by the United States.

He also called for empowering the State of Palestine and supporting its government in implementing its programs and pressuring the occupation to release its funds.

He added: "The international coalition must be supported to embody the State of Palestine and obtain its full membership in the United Nations," calling on the Security Council and the General Assembly to suspend Israel's membership in the United Nations unless it abides by international law.

He called on the countries of the world to review their relations with Israel due to its violations of international law.
