Updated: Israeli occupation launches an arrest campaign in the West Bank and Jerusalem
Today, Friday, the Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale arrest campaign in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
In Nablus, a number of occupation vehicles stormed the village of Urif, raided a house and arrested citizen Majdi Ismail Al-Aref after searching his house.
In the same context, the occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, at dawn today for the fourth time, and no arrests or raids on homes were reported.
The sources added that a group of settlers attacked the Salman al-Farsi roundabout area at the entrance to the town of Hawara, south of Nablus, and carried out acts of violence in the area before citizens of the town confronted them.
In Jericho, the occupation forces arrested the two brothers, Imad and Asef Abu Zeina, from Aqabat Jaber camp, while they were moving at the southern checkpoint.
In Tulkarm, the young man Osama Hussam Hamed was arrested after raiding his house in the suburb.
In Hebron, the occupation forces stormed the town of Dhahiriya, south of Hebron, raided several homes and arrested Jihad Saeed. They also raided several neighborhoods in the city of Hebron, arrested Raja Al-Haimouni, searched his home and ransacked its contents.
In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces raided a number of homes and arrested more than 65 citizens, after tampering with their contents and causing material damage to them, while they turned the home of citizen Muhammad Ghaith into a military barracks and subjected the citizens to investigation.
Meanwhile, the two young men, Qassim Tayeh and Malik Matar, were arrested after their homes in Qalandia camp were raided and searched.
