Netanyahu: We are fighting a difficult war against an enemy that wants to destroy us
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Tel Aviv is committed to continuing the escalating aggression across all of Lebanon, including the capital Beirut, as part of military operations against Hezbollah.
Netanyahu's remarks came during a field visit to the Golani Brigade training base near Binyamina, which was attacked by Hezbollah using a drone, killing four soldiers and wounding dozens.
Netanyahu added: "We will strike Hezbollah throughout Lebanon, including Beirut. We are waging a difficult war against an enemy that wants to destroy us."
This comes in light of Hebrew reports that spoke of commitments made by Tel Aviv to the administration of US President Joe Biden, to refrain from launching attacks in Beirut.
