Israeli occupation forces arrest 50 citizens from the West Bank, including children
- Since yesterday, and until Monday morning, the Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of arrests and extensive field investigations, which included at least 50 citizens from the West Bank.
The Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and the Prisoners' Club said that among the detainees were children, former prisoners, and two journalists who were later released. The arrests and field investigations were concentrated in the governorates of Bethlehem and Jenin, and the rest were distributed among the governorates of Jerusalem, Nablus, Ramallah, Salfit, and Jericho.
The arrests were accompanied by attacks and threats, in addition to severe beatings of the detainees and their families, in addition to widespread acts of vandalism and destruction in citizens’ homes.
It is noteworthy that the number of arrests since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination and comprehensive aggression against our people has risen to more than 11,300 citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
It is worth noting that the occupation forces continue to escalate arrest campaigns in the West Bank, which constitute the most prominent fixed and systematic policies used by the occupation forces, with the aim of undermining any escalating confrontation.
It is noteworthy that the data related to arrest cases includes detainees from the West Bank, excluding Gaza, whose numbers are estimated in the thousands.
