Israeli settlers attack Palestinian olive pickers in several West Bank governorates
Today, Saturday, settlers attacked olive pickers in various parts of the West Bank, in a scene that is repeated every olive season. However, this period in particular is witnessing a series of brutal attacks against citizens, reaching the point of shooting them directly, in a blatant exploitation of the state of preoccupation in light of the successive developments of the Israeli aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
In Salfit, settlers broke about 7 olive trees this morning, which are more than 20 years old, in the Wadi area north of the village of Yasouf, east of Salfit, and are owned by citizen Abdul-Muati Khalil Yassin.
In Nablus, settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, attacked olive pickers in the village of Jalud and the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, and forced them to leave their lands, under threat of arms.
In Ramallah, armed settlers attacked olive pickers in the villages of Al-Mughayyir and Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah.
The settlers attacked the olive pickers in more than one area in Al-Mughayyir, especially the plain area (Marj Al-Dhahab), Al-Hajar area, and Al-Rafid area, in an attempt to prevent them from picking the olives, but the residents forced them to flee the place.
In Turmus Ayya, dozens of settlers attacked olive pickers and forced them to leave their lands in the Dalja area east of the village.
