Israel prevents Palestinians from picking olives in the West Bank
The Israeli occupation army prevented dozens of Palestinian farmers in the occupied West Bank from picking olives, and forced them to leave their fields.
The head of the local council of the village of Duma, south of Nablus (north), said, "Occupation army forces stormed the farms of citizens who were picking olives, chased them, prevented them from staying on their land, and informed them that they were prohibited from being in the area."
He stated that "the occupation army asked the farmers to obtain prior coordination to enter their lands, estimated at an area of about 250 dunams (one dunam equals one thousand square meters)." The same thing happened again in the village of Budrus, west of Ramallah.
