Biden Ignores Gaza Genocide, Renews Support for Israel
US President Joe Biden continued to ignore the genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinians in Gaza for a whole year, and renewed his support for Tel Aviv in the war of extermination.
This came in a message he published on Monday, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
Although he never addressed the genocide committed against the Palestinians, Biden described what happened on October 7, 2023, as “the bloodiest day since the Holocaust for the Jewish people.”
Biden said that "1,200 Israelis have been killed in Hamas attacks since October 7," but he did not mention the number of Palestinians who died in Israeli attacks, saying only that "large numbers of Palestinians have suffered during this year."
He stated that "12 American citizens are among the 250 prisoners in Gaza," indicating that he immediately headed to Israel after October 7 and has continued "strong support" for it since then on both the military and political levels.
The US President, without mentioning the 42,000 Palestinian martyrdoms as a result of the Israeli attacks, justified the large number of Palestinian casualties by claiming that "Hamas is hiding among Palestinian civilians."
He concluded his message by saying that they are continuing to work to reach a ceasefire, despite his confirmation in the same message of continuing political and military support for Israel.
On Monday, a year will have passed since the ongoing genocide carried out by Israel in Gaza, with American support, which has so far resulted in more than 139,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, and more than 10,000 missing, amidst massive destruction and famine that has killed dozens of children and elderly people.
Tel Aviv continues its war of extermination, ignoring the UN Security Council's decision to end it immediately, and the International Court of Justice's orders to take measures to prevent acts of "genocide" and improve the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
