Israeli forces launch a large-scale arrest campaign in the West Bank and Jerusalem
The Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale arrest campaign in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem at dawn and this Monday morning.
In Bethlehem, Jibril Karim Jibril Hasanat (21 years old) from the Deheishe refugee camp in the south, and Abdul Aziz Hamada Zawahra (22 years old) from the city of Bethlehem were arrested during the raid and search of their homes, and from the Deheishe refugee camp, the following were arrested: Ahmed Khader Abdul Jabbar Hasanat (16 years old), Wael Mohammed Jibril Fararjah (55 years old), Ahmed Mohammed Salem Sarahneh (16 years old), and Musa Mohammed Abu Nassar (54 years old).
In Jericho, the occupation forces stormed Aqabat Jaber camp and arrested the freed prisoner Louay Al-Najjar, the freed prisoner Iyad Qatash, and the young man Muhammad Abu Ubaid.
In Nablus, Sami Imad Mahmoud Yamin, Sameh Tayseer Othman Ramadan, and Yousef Hassan Hamad were arrested after raiding their families’ homes in Tal, and Muhammad Ruhi Maali and Ahmad Mujahid Maala were arrested after raiding their families’ homes in Beita, south of Nablus.
In Qalqilya, the occupation forces arrested the freed prisoner Samah Hijjawi, Sabri Abu Hamed, and Saeed Melhem, after raiding and searching their homes.
Following the storming of the city, the city's Education Directorate announced that school hours would be delayed, to start at 9:00 a.m., due to the current circumstances.
In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces stormed Qalandia camp and raided dozens of homes, and arrested 13 citizens: Muhammad Zahran, Mahmoud Alqam, Ihab Shahrour, Ahmed Jihad Al-Shouani, Musa Hazin, Muhammad Ishaq Yaqoub, Ihab Bazie, Karam Al-Baria, Muhammad Hassan Al-Baria, Ahmad Hassan Al-Lawzi, Issa Jahjouh, Ahmad Jamal Al-Hout, and Musa Jahjouh.
The Red Crescent Society said that its crews in Ramallah and Al-Bireh dealt with a live bullet injury to the foot of a 15-year-old child in Qalandia camp.
In Hebron, the occupation forces raided Al-Fawar camp and arrested Malek Saber Abu Hashhash, Munir Atallah Al-Tayti, Musa Al-Azza, and the brothers Muhammad, Yassin, Adam, Islam Yousef Abu Hashhash, and Jaafar Al-Ra’i.
They stormed the town of Dura and arrested Munir Mustafa Abu Sharar, Farid Mahmoud Al-Rajoub, Muhammad Yousef Safi Al-Haroub, Muhammad Akram Al-Darabi’, Muhammad Ziad Amr Aqritam, Ayham Kamal Al-Namoura, Sheikh Ali Abu Zneid, Ahmed Ali Al-Suwaiti, and Moatasem Al-Wahwah.
The occupation forces also arrested two citizens from the Gaza Strip, who live in the Abu Ashoush area, from the town of Dura. Their identities were not known until this news was prepared. They were taken away after searching their homes and tampering with their contents.
The occupation forces forced the family of Ahmed Yousef Ghannam at the intersection of the village of Kharsa in the town of Dura to leave their home until next Tuesday, and turned it into a military barracks. They also broke the door of the Al-Naseem building on the Kharsa Triangle, stormed it, and turned it into a military barracks as well.
