Israeli army: 5 rockets fired from Lebanon
The Israeli army announced on Saturday that it had detected 5 missiles launched from Lebanon towards the northern regions, while a Hebrew website said that estimates indicate that the missiles were targeting the Ramat David air base southeast of Haifa.
The army said in a brief statement on its account on the "X" platform: "In addition to the alerts that were activated in the area of Emek Yizreel and Wadi Ara, about 5 rockets were detected launched from Lebanon."
He explained that some of those missiles were intercepted, while the rest fell in open areas, without indicating the party responsible for launching the missiles. For its part, the Hebrew website "Walla" said that there are estimates of the safety of the missiles that were fired at the Jezreel Valley (Jezreel Valley), which were targeting the "Ramat David" air base, southeast of Haifa.
Shortly before that, sirens sounded in several towns in northern Israel warning of rocket fire.
