West Bank: Israeli forces arrest 24 Palestinians in Hebron

Today, Friday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested more than 24 citizens from the city of Hebron and the town of Beit Ummar in the north, and tightened their military measures throughout the governorate.


Local sources reported that the occupation forces are still closing the entrances to the city of Hebron, and the entrances to the towns of Adh Dhahiriya, Dura, As Samou, Farsh Al Hawa, Ras Al Joura, Al Fahs, Abda, Bani Naim, Karma, Adh Dhahiriya, Al Haraiq, and all roads leading to the bypass road that connects all the towns with the city of Hebron with iron gates, in addition to military checkpoints at some side entrances. They are also searching citizens’ vehicles and obstructing the movement of passing citizens.

The sources confirmed that the occupation forces continued their strict military measures in the old city of Hebron, and at the electronic checkpoints leading to the Ibrahimi Mosque, during which citizens are subjected to abuse and humiliation at the hands of the occupation soldiers and groups of armed settlers.
