Two Israeli soldiers killed, 18 wounded in clashes with Hezbollah fighters
Israeli media reported that two soldiers were killed and 18 wounded during clashes with Hezbollah fighters near the border with Lebanon, noting that the injured soldiers were transferred to Rambam Hospital in Haifa and Ziv Hospital in Safed in the Upper Galilee this morning.
The Israeli Home Front Command said that sirens continue to sound in Kiryat Shmona and towns in the Upper Galilee in northern Israel, after nearly 40 rockets were detected towards the Upper Galilee since dawn today.
The Israeli army announced that 10 homes in Metula, northern Israel, were hit by missiles fired from Lebanon.
In return, Hezbollah announced that its fighters confronted an Israeli force that tried to infiltrate the town of Adaisseh in the Marjeyoun district in the Nabatieh Governorate in southern Lebanon, inflicting losses on it and forcing it to retreat.
The party added that its fighters "targeted a large infantry force in the settlement of Maskafam with rockets and artillery and achieved a direct and accurate hit," explaining that they also targeted "a gathering of enemy forces in the settlement of Shtula with two Burkan missiles and achieved confirmed hits."
