Two young men were killed this morning, Tuesday, and four others, including three paramedics, were injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets during their raid on the city of Nablus.
According to the Ministry of Health, Diaa Hani Abdel Rahman Duweikat (25 years old) died of critical wounds he sustained in the abdomen and thigh in Balata camp, east of Nablus.
The General Authority of Civil Affairs informed the Ministry of Health of the martyrdom of Abdul Hakim Mamoun Abdul Hamid Shaheen (33 years old) by the occupation forces’ bullets in the Old City.
Red Crescent spokesman Ahmed Jibril said that he received a report of injuries inside a house in the Hashashin neighborhood, and that the occupation forces prevented ambulance crews from reaching the site.
It pointed out that 3 paramedics from the Red Crescent crews were injured by live bullets after being deliberately targeted by the occupation soldiers despite prior coordination through the International Committee of the Red Cross while they were trying to evacuate a number of injuries in Balata camp.
Jibril pointed out that the occupation forces detained ambulances while they were trying to enter the camp to evacuate the injured crews.
Israeli special forces stormed the camp, while more reinforcements arrived from the Beit Furik checkpoint, and deployed in a number of the camp's neighborhoods.
