15 Israelis injured in Upper Galilee by rockets fired from Lebanon

15 Israeli soldiers were injured, with injuries ranging from moderate to serious, when two anti-tank missiles were fired from Lebanon towards the Upper Galilee region on Thursday.

Hezbollah announced in a brief statement that it had targeted Israeli army gatherings, saying: "We caused deaths and injuries in an attack that targeted Israeli soldiers at the Marj site in the Galilee Finger."

An anti-tank missile from Lebanon targeted an Israeli military vehicle in Tel Hai, near Kiryat Shmona in the Upper Galilee, and the Israeli army called in military helicopters to evacuate the wounded among its forces.

This comes as the Israeli army spokesman announced that the Israeli air force attacked military buildings and a weapons depot belonging to Hezbollah in seven areas in southern Lebanon.

According to the Israeli army statement, the air force fighters attacked military buildings belonging to Hezbollah in the areas of Sheheen, Taybeh, Blida, Mays al-Jabal, Aitaroun and Kfar Kila in southern Lebanon.

In addition, Israeli aircraft attacked a weapons depot used by Hezbollah in the Khiam area in southern Lebanon, and Israeli artillery shelled several areas in southern Lebanon.
