Suffocation injuries during Israeli occupation forces' storming of southern Bethlehem
A number of citizens suffered from suffocation on Monday evening, due to inhaling toxic gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces, during their storming of the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem.
According to local sources, an occupation army force stormed the "Umm Rakba" area south of the town, where they fired tear gas and sound bombs intensively, causing a number of citizens to suffer from suffocation. Ambulance crews provided first aid to the injured on the ground.
The sources added that the occupation soldiers stopped the vehicles and searched them thoroughly, in addition to checking the identities of the citizens who were in the area.
Recently, the town of Al-Khader has witnessed a clear escalation in the raids of the occupation forces, as cases of firing tear gas and sound bombs are repeated, in addition to setting up military checkpoints in different areas of the town.
