Israeli settlers attack Palestinian students and teachers northwest of Jericho
Today, Monday, settlers attacked students and teaching staff at Arab Al-Kaabneh Elementary School in the Al-Ma'arjat area, northwest of Jericho.
Local sources reported that armed settlers attacked the Arab al-Kaabneh community in the al-Ma'rajat area, beat an elderly man, stormed the elementary school and beat students and teachers before detaining them.
She added that there is a state of panic and fear among citizens, especially women and children.
The Red Crescent said in a brief statement that its crews dealt with seven injuries from assault by settlers, and they were transferred to the hospital.
Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baidar organization for the defense of Bedouin rights, said that the settlers assaulted the students and teachers, detained them in the school, and tied up its principal.
He added that the school is still under siege and students are being abused inside.
He called on all international and local humanitarian agencies to intervene immediately in the emergency situation witnessed by the Bedouin Al-Kaabneh School in the Arab Al-Malihat area, as the situation has reached an unprecedented level of danger.
