Thousands of Israelis demonstrated in Tel Aviv and several other Israeli locations and towns on Saturday evening, demanding the overthrow of Benjamin Netanyahu's government and the conclusion of a prisoner exchange deal.

Israelis also demonstrated near Netanyahu's home in Caesarea, in addition to dozens of Israeli sites and towns.

In recent weeks, opponents of the Israeli government have escalated their protest activities, demanding a prisoner exchange deal and early general elections.
