The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warned of the risks resulting from the occupation evacuating the northern Gaza Strip of Palestinian citizens present there.

The ministry considered in a statement that this is a prelude to starting to annex the Strip and its essential parts in preparation for settlement in it, which seriously threatens to displace Palestinian citizens after confining them to a narrow area, especially since the crimes of brutal bombing of civilians have clearly come into line with this expansionist colonial goal on the one hand, as well as an attempt to establish the division of the Strip into three parts isolated from each other.

It said: This is happening at a time when the ruling Israeli right is mobilizing all its tools and capabilities to explode the situation in the occupied West Bank with the aim of facilitating the annexation of the West Bank and overthrowing the Palestinian National Authority, which is what Smotrich and Ben Gvir are openly inciting under the slogan of stifling the opportunity to embody the Palestinian state on the ground.

The ministry considered that the international failure to stop the war of extermination and displacement provides the extremist Israeli government with the time needed to implement its colonial plans in the West Bank and Gaza, and encourages it to continue to strike at the foundations of the Palestinian state and liquidate it.

The Ministry stressed that implementing the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice through the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of executive mechanisms for its implementation is of great importance in deterring the occupation and ending it once and for all. It also stressed that imposing deterrent international sanctions on the occupying state is the correct approach to force it to stop the aggression and respect the decisions of international legitimacy and the orders of the International Court of Justice.
