Israeli occupation forces launch arrest campaign in the West Bank
The Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale arrest campaign in various areas of the West Bank at dawn and this morning, Thursday.
In Bethlehem, the occupation forces arrested the two brothers, Imad Hamdan Salama (38 years old) and Muayad (42 years old) from the village of Shawawra after raiding and searching their homes.
Musa Ismail Shafut was arrested from his workplace in the Balou’ neighborhood in the town of Al-Khader. He is a resident of Al-Arroub camp north of Hebron, and Tariq Al-Azzeh was arrested while he was in the town of Za’tara to the east. He is a resident of Al-Azzeh camp to the north.
In Tulkarm, the occupation forces arrested Mahdi Ziad Al-Jayousi and Abdul Abu Asba from their homes in the eastern neighborhood, and Moaz Samir Al-Haroun after raiding his home in the western neighborhood of the city. He is a former detainee.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces continue their aggression on the city and camp of Tulkarm, amidst the sending of more military reinforcements to them, and the flying of reconnaissance planes at low altitudes.
In Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested the freed prisoner Amin Arman from the village of Ein Yabrud, northeast of Ramallah, while he was in the village of Aboud.
The two young men, Osama Muhammad Lutfi (19 years old) and Salah Muhammad Samhan (19 years old), were also arrested during a raid on their homes in the village of Al-Laban Al-Gharbi.
Meanwhile, the occupation army stormed the village of Deir Abu Mash'al and detained the two brothers, Muhammad and Montaser Ankush, to pressure their brother Jamil Saleh Ankush to surrender himself to the occupation authorities.
In Qalqilya, an 18-year-old woman was injured by shrapnel from the occupation forces’ bullets in the neck during the storming of the city at dawn, and the occupation forces’ random shooting. She was transferred to Darwish Nazzal Governmental Hospital to receive treatment, and her injury was described as moderate.
The occupation forces also arrested two young men from the city: Musa Zaid and Hanoud Salmi, after raiding and searching their homes.
