Prisoners Club: The number of female administrative detainees in occupation prisons has risen to 24
The Prisoners Club said that in the context of the escalation of the crime of administrative detention and the ongoing arrest campaigns, the number of female administrative detainees in Israeli occupation prisons has risen to 24, after three of them were transferred from Hebron to administrative detention.
The Prisoners Club added that the three detainees are students Raghad Amro and Yamama Harinat, and engineer Raghad Mubarak. The occupation issued administrative orders against them for a period of 4 months, and they have been detained since September 1.
The Prisoners Club pointed out that the number of female detainees in the occupation prisons is about 95 female prisoners, and this data only includes information from the institutions, and the majority of them are detained in the "Damon" prison, and among them are three from Gaza, among them a mother and her daughter, but it does not include all the female detainees from Gaza and those detained in the camps affiliated with the occupation army, and there are no details about their numbers, in light of the ongoing crime of enforced disappearance of large numbers of Gaza detainees, since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination.
Among the detainees are: 6 female journalists, 2 female lawyers, university students, academics, teachers, mothers of prisoners, wives of prisoners, sisters of martyrs and wounded, former female prisoners, wounded women, in addition to a pregnant detainee, Jihad Ghwanmeh.
The occupation prison administration recently isolated the human rights prisoner Khalida Jarrar in the isolation of the (Neve Tirzia) prison, in very harsh and difficult conditions. She is one of the administrative detainees in the occupation prisons.
In this context, he pointed out that the occupation issued more than 8,872 administrative detention orders after October 7, which included all categories, including women, children, and the elderly, in addition to the most prominent category of former prisoners who spent years in administrative detention.
It is worth mentioning that the number of women arrested since the beginning of the war of extermination has reached more than (400), and this data includes women who were arrested in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, as well as women from the 1948 territories, while there is no clear estimate of the number of women arrested from Gaza.
