Arrests and raids in the West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale arrest campaign in various areas of the West Bank.


These forces arrested 8 citizens from Qalqilya Governorate.


Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the city, raided a number of homes, and arrested: Wael Ayyash, the boy Anas Shraim, the freed prisoner Muhammad Salama, Ameed Abu Asab, Saeed Shraim, Aref Nofal, and Muhammad Naseem.


The occupation forces also raided a number of neighborhoods in the city, including: Qaraan, Shuraim, Ghayyatha, the Western Street, Al-Wadi, Nablus, the slaughterhouse, the old Al-Aqsa Medical Center, and Al-Rai Sweets.


In the same context, the occupation forces stormed the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, and arrested the citizen Walid Saeed Salama, after raiding and searching his house.


Other forces arrested three citizens from the town of Sa'ir, north of Hebron.


Local sources reported that the occupation army arrested the freed prisoner Ayman Abdel Salam Jaradat, his son Hammam, and Imad Shalash Jaradat after raiding their homes and destroying their contents in the town of Sa'ir.


Dozens of citizens suffered from suffocation during clashes with the occupation forces in the town of Sa'ir and Al-Fawar camp.


Two young men, whose identities are unknown, were arrested from Al-Fawar camp and severely beaten.


The occupation forces seized quantities of agricultural fertilizer in the Ras Al-Aroud area in the town of Sa'ir.


The occupation army also set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron, its towns, villages and camps, and closed a number of main and secondary roads with iron gates, cement blocks and earthen barriers.


Other forces stormed Balata camp, east of Nablus.


Local sources reported that several military vehicles, accompanied by a bulldozer, stormed the camp, amidst live ammunition, gas and sound bombs, and clashes erupted in the market street inside the camp.
