Earlier on Sunday, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman made two phone calls with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and discussed with them “the need to intensify efforts to stop Israeli attacks and violations and the escalation in Gaza and the West Bank.”
In conjunction with its war on Gaza since October 7, the Israeli army expanded its operations in the West Bank, while settlers escalated their attacks, resulting in the martyrdom of 676 Palestinians, including 150 children, the injury of more than 5,400, and the arrest of more than 10,200, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
With full American support, Israel waged a war on Gaza that resulted in nearly 135,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amidst massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of dozens.
