War on Gaza: 51 Palestinians killed and continuous Israeli bombardment across the Gaza Strip
Medical sources told Al Jazeera that 51 Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids on various areas in Gaza since dawn today.
This comes as the Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the occupation committed 4 massacres during the past hours, resulting in 58 martyrs and 131 wounded arriving at hospitals.
The ministry added that the total number of victims of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen to 40,534 martyrs and 93,778 wounded.
Targeting displaced people
Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that 5 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a car carrying them in the town of Al-Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip.
He also reported that 9 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment in front of a school housing displaced people in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.
He confirmed the martyrdom of two other Palestinians as a result of Israeli artillery shelling of Al-Amal neighbourhood, west of Khan Yunis city, in the southern Gaza Strip.
He also said that 6 Palestinians were killed and others were injured, as a result of Israeli shelling that targeted a house in the Batn al-Sameen area, south of Khan Yunis.
He explained that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the eastern areas of Khan Yunis, and also blew up residential buildings in the Al-Mahta neighborhood, north of the city.
Continuous bombing
The Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip continued without stopping day and night, and medical sources told Al Jazeera that dozens were killed in aerial and artillery bombardment of populated areas since dawn today.
Earlier, Al-Aqsa TV said that Israeli artillery shelled the east of Al-Maghazi camp and the east of Deir Al-Balah.
In the central Gaza Strip, journalist Mohammed Abd Rabbo was also killed in an Israeli raid on the Nuseirat camp.
The government media office in Gaza said that with the martyrdom of Abdul Rabbuh, the number of martyred journalists has risen to 172 since the beginning of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
It is noteworthy that since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 134,000 Palestinian dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.
Israel continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to stop it immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
