The Palestinian National Council calls on the world to save the people of Gaza from genocide and displacement
The Palestinian National Council issued an urgent appeal to the international community and the peoples of the world to save more than two million innocent children, women and elderly people in the Gaza Strip from genocide, ethnic cleansing and forced displacement at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces.
The Council referred to the large-scale displacement process witnessed in the Deir al-Balah Governorate, which is crowded with displaced persons in the middle of the Gaza Strip, and to the criminal escalation, bloody raids, and genocide of the population, forcing more than 250,000 citizens to flee.
The Council said in a statement issued today, Monday, that what is happening in Deir al-Balah and the entire Gaza Strip is one of the ugliest forms of torture and the ugliest types of sadism, racism and extremist madness.
The National Council considered that cramming more than 1.7 million people into a strip 22 kilometers long and one kilometer wide that lacks the minimum levels of humanitarian services, in addition to taking Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital out of service, and forcing medical crews to evacuate after threatening them with bombing and killing, is one of the most hideous forms of genocide known to humanity in the modern era, carried out by the terrorist occupation government in full view of the world, which measures with a racist, ethnic measure governed by skin color and language.
