A statement issued by the Israeli Ministry of Security today, Monday, said that 50,000 tons of American military equipment have arrived in Israel since the beginning of the war on Gaza until now, transported by 500 cargo planes and 107 ships.

This equipment included armored vehicles, missiles and projectiles, ammunition, personal protective equipment, medical equipment and more.

The statement said, "This air and sea train constitutes a major pillar in enhancing the continued performance of the Israeli army in order to achieve the goals of the current and future war."

The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) approved, in the middle of this month, the sale of weapons to Israel as part of a $20 billion deal that includes F-15 fighter jets, armored vehicles, tank shells, and air-to-air missiles.

According to the Pentagon, the deal includes the sale of 100 F-15I and F-15IA aircraft, worth $18.82 billion, 120mm artillery shells worth $774.1 million, along with advanced medium-range air-to-air missiles worth up to $102.5 million.

The deal also includes modified M1148A1B2 tactical vehicles, for $583.1 million, according to the Pentagon.

According to the Pentagon, the expected date for delivery of the aircraft, vehicles and bombs will not be soon, but rather within the next two to five years, as most of the costs of the total deal will be paid from US aid money to Israel.
