Today, Monday, a citizen was killed by Israeli occupation forces in Khirbet Janba in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron.

The Ministry of Health reported the martyrdom of citizen Iyad Ayed Abdul Najjar (46 years old), after being shot in the head by occupation soldiers near Yatta.

Security and local sources said that the occupation forces opened fire on the citizen Al-Najjar near the racist separation and expansion wall built on the lands of Jenbah, which led to his immediate martyrdom.

With the death of Al-Najjar, the number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, since October 7, 2023, has risen to 645, including 147 children.

The West Bank, which has been occupied by Israel since 1967, has witnessed an increase in incursions, but the situation has escalated since Israel launched its devastating and ongoing war on the Gaza Strip for 10 months.
