Israeli officer killed, 6 soldiers injured in southern Gaza
An Israeli officer was killed and 6 soldiers were injured in an "erroneous" bombing of a building they were inside in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli occupation army said in a statement published on its official website on Monday evening that Lieutenant Shahar Ben Nun (21 years old) from Petah Tikva (center), commander of a squad in the paratroopers patrol, fell in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army did not provide further details about the circumstances of the incident, but Hebrew media, including the official Israeli Broadcasting Authority, said that "Shahar was killed and 6 soldiers were injured when an Israeli warplane dropped a bomb on a building adjacent to another building in which they were located in Khan Yunis."
