Injuries and arrests during Israeli raids in the West Bank
Three citizens were injured today, Tuesday, by bullet shrapnel, and a fourth by assault, after the occupation forces stormed the town of Tamoun, south of Tubas.
Red Crescent sources reported that its crews dealt with four injuries in the town of Tamoun, which were described as minor, and they were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
In a related context, the director of the Prisoners Club in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, said that the occupation forces arrested the two brothers, Musab and Fatima Yousef Basharat, while they detained their brother Ibrahim and assaulted him before releasing him. They also raided a number of homes and wreaked havoc on them.
Local sources said that the occupation bulldozers attacked vehicles and caused destruction in the streets.
At the same time, the occupation forces stormed the city of Tubas and raided a number of homes there.
According to the same sources, the occupation stormed the city from its southern entrance and deployed snipers, with clashes and explosions erupting in the city.
The sources added that the occupation forces dropped flares in the city's sky.
Other forces arrested two citizens from Nablus, namely Fathi Abu Rizq, from Balata camp, and Hisham Mani, a resident of the vicinity of Al-Ain camp.
Local sources said that the occupation forces stormed the camps, amidst shooting and sound bombs.
The sources added that a military bulldozer carried out acts of sabotage in the "Quraan neighborhood" inside Balata camp.
In Bethlehem, the occupation forces arrested a number of citizens.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the cities of Bethlehem, Beit Jala, and the town of Al-Khader, and arrested a number of citizens, including: Muhammad Saber Al-Lahham (35 years old) from Al-Khader in the south, and Osama Jamal Shalash (40 years old) from Bethlehem, after raiding and searching their families’ homes.
In Jenin, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Jaba.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the town and took up positions near the municipality building, amidst the firing of bullets and sound bombs, which led to the outbreak of clashes, without any injuries or arrests being reported.
