Today, Monday, settlers detained a group of citizens in the Umm al-Jimal area in the northern Jordan Valley.

According to local sources, settlers detained a number of citizens, including activist Ayman Gharib, in the Umm al-Jamal area.

This morning, settlers set up tents near the homes of citizens in the area, and put their livestock in them.

This comes in light of the significant escalation of settler attacks in many areas of the northern Jordan Valley, which include attacking citizens and their homes, stealing their livestock, and attempts to seize more of their lands, by setting up tents or planting trees.

The occupation forces continue to tighten their military measures at the Tayasir and Hamra military checkpoints in the northern Jordan Valley, in addition to closing many entrances leading to the Jordan Valley, which has hindered the movement of citizens.
