War on Gaza: Israeli occupation targets 13 centers for displaced persons in 10 days

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation has targeted 13 centers for sheltering displaced people in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of August.

The occupation warplanes bombed, at dawn on Saturday, the Al-Tabi’in School in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City. According to sources, the targeting was on two floors, the first of which houses displaced women and children, and the ground floor, which is a prayer room. This led to the death of more than 100 citizens, including 11 children and 6 women, and the injury of about 170 others, dozens of whom are in critical condition, as a result of the fire that broke out in the place.

Many of the remains have not been identified, and there are still missing people whose fate is unknown, after their families were informed that they were inside the school’s prayer hall.

Last Thursday, 15 citizens were killed and dozens were injured, including children, when the occupation warplanes targeted Al-Zahraa and Abdul Fattah Hamoud schools, which house displaced people in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

On August 4, 30 citizens were killed and dozens were injured, most of them children, in a bombing that targeted Al-Nasr and Hassan Salama schools in Al-Nasr neighborhood, west of Gaza City.

On August 3, 16 citizens were killed and others were injured in a bombing that targeted Hamama School, which shelters displaced people in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of the city.
