The Government Media Office in Gaza published a statement today, Tuesday, including the most important statistics of the genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip for the 305th consecutive day.

The office said in its statement that the occupation committed 3,471 massacres since the beginning of its aggression, resulting in the death of 39,653 Palestinians, including 16,365 children and 11,012 women.

He added that 36 people were killed due to famine, 885 medical personnel, 79 civil defense personnel, and 165 journalists were killed.

The office confirmed that there are about 1,000 people missing, while the number of injured reached about 91,535.

The office noted that 69% of the victims were women and children, and that 17,000 children were now living without one or both of their parents.

Execution of scientists

The office confirmed that the occupation executed 107 scientists, university professors and researchers.

Regarding the health conditions in the sector, the office said that nearly 3,500 children are at risk of death due to malnutrition and food shortages, 12,000 wounded people need to travel abroad for treatment, and 10,000 cancer patients are facing death and need treatment.

There are also 3,000 patients suffering from various diseases and need treatment abroad, and more than 1.7 million people have been infected with infectious diseases as a result of displacement, while the lives of 60,000 pregnant women are at risk due to the lack of health care.

The number of cases of epidemic hepatitis infection reached 71,338 cases, while 350,000 patients are at risk due to the ban on the entry of medicines.

The number of detainees from the Gaza Strip held by the occupation has reached 5,000, including about 310 health workers and 36 journalists.

The statement indicated that the number of displaced people in the Gaza Strip has reached 2 million.

The occupation destroyed 120 schools and universities

Regarding the destruction of buildings, the statement said that the occupation completely destroyed 120 schools and universities and partially destroyed 332 others, in addition to completely destroying more than 600 mosques and partially destroying 210 others, and targeting and destroying 3 churches and 198 government headquarters.

During its aggression, the occupation dropped 82,000 tons of explosives on the Gaza Strip, putting 34 hospitals and 68 health centers out of service.

The number of archaeological sites destroyed by the occupation reached 206 heritage and archaeological sites, and 34 sports facilities were destroyed, while the total length of the electricity networks destroyed reached 3,030 kilometers, in addition to the destruction of 700 water wells.

The statement explained that the total direct initial losses from the genocidal war amounted to 33 billion dollars.

In a related context, the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that the Israeli occupation committed 3 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 30 dead and 66 injuries arriving at hospitals during the past 24 hours, adding that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

The ministry said in the statement that the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 39,653 and 91,535 injuries since October 7.
