This is the date when Iran will launch its “retaliatory strike” against Israel.. and Washington is mobilizing a coalition to defend “Tel Aviv”..
The American website “Axios” expects American and Israeli sources that Iran will carry out an attack targeting Israel starting tomorrow, Monday, and this coincides with the visit of an American military commander to the region to mobilize a coalition to defend Israel.
Iranian leaders and leaders of the Lebanese Hezbollah pledged to take revenge on Israel following the assassination of the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, and the assassination of Hezbollah leader Fouad Shukr in an attack targeting the southern suburb of Beirut.
The website “Axios” reported that 3 American and Israeli officials said that they expect Iran to attack Israel soon, and this may be starting tomorrow, Monday.
It indicated that the American administration expects the Iranian response to be similar to the attack carried out by Tehran that targeted Israel with missiles and drones on April 13, but it may be larger in scope and may include operations by Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The website indicated that American and Israeli officials do not know whether Iran and Hezbollah will launch a coordinated attack or operate separately.
They added that they believe that both Iran and Hezbollah are still working to finalize their military plans and approve them at the political level.
In New York, a spokesman for the Iranian Permanent Mission to the United Nations expected that Hezbollah will change the “limits of its attack” on Israel.
The spokesman explained to the American CBS network that Hezbollah is so far adhering to certain limits in its military operations and giving priority to military sites, but it may choose broader and deeper targets, and its attacks may not be limited to military targets and means alone.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced earlier the movement of the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln to the eastern Mediterranean and the deployment of a squadron of F-22 fighter jets, to join the aircraft carrier Roosevelt stationed in the Indian Ocean near the Arabian Sea and a number of destroyers deployed off the coast of Israel.
Axios quoted an American official as saying that Washington’s announcement to strengthen its military presence in the region was in the hope that this would help deter Iran and Hezbollah and influence their military plans.
In light of the increasing tension in the region, General Michael Kurilla, who is responsible for American forces in the Middle East, began a visit to several Gulf countries in addition to Jordan and Israel. The Axios website stated that Kurilla’s visit was scheduled before the recent developments, but he will try to exploit it to mobilize the same international and regional coalition that defended Israel against the Iranian attack on April 13.
The website indicated that Jordan will be a major stop on Kurilla’s trip, given the role played by Amman during the April 13 attack by intercepting Iranian drones that entered its territory heading towards Israel and allowing American and Israeli aircraft to use its airspace to intercept the Iranian attack. According to Axios, Washington hopes that the same position will be repeated from Jordan if Israel is subjected to a new attack.
The commander of the US Central Command “CENTCOM”, General Michael Eric Kurilla, arrived in the Middle East to discuss possible Iranian attacks against Israel. This came in a news report by the American website "Axios", quoting senior American officials.
The website explained that Kurilla arrived in the Middle East region on Saturday evening.
It indicated that Kurilla is expected to visit Israel, Jordan and some Gulf countries.
The world is awaiting a military response from Iran and Hezbollah to Israel after the latter was accused of assassinating the head of the political bureau of the "Hamas" movement, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran at dawn on Wednesday, and its adoption of the assassination of the prominent leader of "Hezbollah", Fouad Shukr, in Beirut on Tuesday evening.
