Injuries and arrests in the West Bank
A number of citizens were injured and arrested, at dawn and this morning, Thursday, during a campaign of raids launched by the Israeli occupation forces in various areas of the West Bank.
In Jenin, the Red Crescent told Al-Quds.com that 4 citizens were injured by the occupation forces’ bullets near the Salem military checkpoint, three of them were injured in the lower limbs and the other in the foot. Their injuries were described as moderate, and they were transferred to Jenin Governmental Hospital.
In Nablus, the occupation forces raided a number of homes, searched them and tampered with their contents. They assaulted a woman and a young man while storming a house on Al-Mureij Street, and arrested five citizens: Samer Mohammed Khalil Shadouh, west of the city, Tamer Al-Saber from Old Al-Najah Street, Izz Al-Din Khaled Al-Sousah from the Al-Maajin area, Majdi Al-Qutb from New Nablus, and Taha Al-Titi from the northern mountain.
In Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested the freed prisoner, Muhammad Asfour Al-Barghouthi, from Kober, while the occupation soldiers detained several young men for several hours and conducted field investigations with them, among whom were identified: the freed prisoner, Israr Al-Barghouthi, and the young man, Ward Al-Barghouthi.
While the occupation forces raided Beit Rima, they arrested the girl Alaa Samir Al-Rimawi (23 years old), after raiding her family’s home and tampering with its contents.
In Nablus, two young men in their twenties were shot after the occupation forces targeted them inside the village. The forces also arrested the young man, Muhammad Haitham Za’oul (27 years old), after raiding and searching his home.
A fire broke out in the house of citizen Mashhour Hamamra as a result of the occupation forces throwing tear gas and sound bombs at him.
In Hebron, the occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods, arrested Islam Karameh and Ahmed Mansour Al-Qawasmi, and raided a number of citizens’ homes.
These forces also arrested 5 citizens from the town of Beit Kahil, northwest of Hebron: Ahmad Al-Asafreh, Muhammad Hamza Al-Asafreh, Akif Ismail Al-Asafreh, Muhammad Hassan Brioush, and Younis Ismail Al-Zahour, after raiding and searching their homes.
From the town of Dura, south of Hebron, the occupation forces arrested Musa Muath Al-Haroub and Adam Taha Abu Sharar.
