Netanyahu intends to form a new "war cabinet" with the participation of Ben Gvir

Hebrew media revealed on Wednesday that the occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is planning to form a new "cabinet" (mini-government) to manage the war on Gaza, with the participation of the far-right minister Itamar Ben Gvir, with the aim of allowing the approval of the "religious services law" for the ultra-Orthodox Shas party in the Knesset, according to the Quds Press Agency.

The so-called “Religious Services Law,” which would allow for the regulation of religious service providers’ wages, known as the “Second Rabbinical Law,” was removed from the Knesset’s agenda two weeks ago after failing to secure a majority to pass it.

Ben-Gvir announced at the time that he "will not support the law because it is not included in the mini-government."

The Hebrew Channel 11 said: "What has been happening since yesterday evening - the day before yesterday - are feverish negotiations between the parties, at a time when Netanyahu is visiting the United States."

MK Benny Gantz said in response: “Conducting negotiations for the sake of the safety of this coalition is evidence that politics has penetrated the holy of holies of state security.”

He added: "Every Israeli should feel more concerned about Israel's security today and be upset with Netanyahu's administration," according to the Hebrew channel.

Gantz continued, addressing Netanyahu, saying: "You know Ben Gvir better than anyone else. Do not harm the country's security."

Since October 7, the Israeli occupation army has continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip, with American and European support, which has led to the martyrdom of 39,090, the injury of 90,147 others, and the displacement of 90% of the population of the Strip, according to data from the United Nations.
