Al-Houthi announces that the number of killed of Israel's attack on Yemen has risen to 9
The Houthi group announced on Monday that the death toll from the Israeli attack on the city of Hodeidah in western Yemen had risen to 9 people.
On Saturday, Israeli fighters launched raids on the port of Hodeidah, its fuel tanks, and its electricity station. Which resulted in 6 martyrs, 3 missing people, and 83 wounded, according to the Houthi group’s statistics yesterday, Sunday, before the death toll rose today.
The Houthi-run Saba news agency reported that during the day, Monday, the bodies of 9 martyrs who worked at the fuel tank facilities and the port of Hodeidah were held in the city of Hodeidah, who were martyred for the crime of bombing the Israeli aggression on these facilities.
The mourners stressed that "Yemen's position in supporting and defending the oppressed Palestinian people is faith-based and religious, and it will not stop or retreat."
They added, "Yemen and its free sons will continue to support the Palestinian people until the Israeli aggression against Gaza and the occupied territories stops," according to the same source.
The Israeli raids on Yemen were met with widespread local, Arab and international condemnations, in addition to warnings of their repercussions on the security situation in the region, and efforts to end Tel Aviv’s ongoing war on the Gaza Strip for the tenth month.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu considered the raids a response to a drone attack launched by the Houthis on the city of Tel Aviv on Friday. He killed an Israeli and wounded 10 others.
