Government Information Office: Gazans cannot sleep at night
The government media office in the Gaza Strip confirmed on Monday that the Israeli occupation continues its systematic destruction of infrastructure and health institutions in the city of Rafah, south of the Strip.
Tayseer Muhaisen, spokesman for the government media office, said in an interview with “Arab TV” that there is not a single health institution left in the Gaza Strip capable of meeting the needs of its residents.
He added, "Gaza residents cannot sleep at night and are anticipating a bombing targeting their homes at any moment." He pointed out that the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City was no longer able to accommodate the martyrs and victims, and also pointed out that Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital was completely exhausted with the escalation of Israeli massacres.
While he reported that large numbers of wounded people had gone missing as a result of the inability of medical teams to provide assistance to them, he stressed that "the occupation continues to use methods of killing, starvation, and preventing the arrival of humanitarian aid."
He explained that the occupation was deliberately preventing the distribution of fuel to obstruct the entry of aid trucks and ambulance crews. Muhaisen said: "We have lost hope in the international community, which watches the occupation massacres without serious action."
