Israel continues its incursions into the West Bank and fierce clashes in Nablus

At dawn on Saturday, the occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in Nablus and Jenin in the occupied West Bank, amid fierce clashes with resistance fighters.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah), said that its fighters in Nablus were waging fierce battles with machine guns and explosive devices with the occupation forces storming the Al-Makhfiya neighborhood in the city.

Before that, the occupation forces raided the family home of journalist Moaz Sharida near the Al-Qasr Hotel in Nablus, and also stormed the towns of Silat Al-Dhahr and Al-Fandqumiya, south of the city of Jenin.

In the town of Al-Samu, south of Hebron, in the south of the West Bank, the occupation forces raided various places, confiscated vehicles, shot a number of young men, and severely beat a young man.

The occupation forces also fired sound bombs and tear gas at a funeral for the Shweiki family in the Karantina cemetery in the center of Hebron.

The occupation soldiers said that they suppressed the participants in the funeral because there was no prior coordination to bury the deceased.

This is not the first time that occupation soldiers have attacked funerals buried in that cemetery.

The cemetery is located in the Karantina area near the Ibrahimi Mosque, an area surrounded by settlements and camps belonging to the occupation army.

In Yatta, south of Hebron, settlers and occupation forces attacked farmers and shepherds in the village of Al-Tuwani in Musafer Yatta.

The settlers attacked shepherds and expelled them from their pastures, hours after the settlers uprooted the fruit trees of farmers in the village.

In conjunction with its war on the Gaza Strip, the occupation escalated its attacks in the West Bank - including occupied Jerusalem - which left 553 Palestinian martyrs - including 133 children - and about 5,300 wounded, according to the Ministry of Health.
