The occupation of the Rafah crossing deprives 25,000 Gazans of treatment

The director of the Government Information Office in Gaza announced that 25,000 patients were prevented from traveling for treatment abroad after the burning of the Rafah crossing.

He explained that the specter of famine is increasing day by day in the Gaza Strip, which portends an increase in the number of deaths due to hunger.

He pointed out that the occupation committed a crime against international law by occupying the Rafah crossing, burning and bulldozing it, which led to patients being deprived of traveling for treatment abroad.

Also, 15,000 trucks loaded with aid are stuck due to the closure of the Rafah and Kerem Shalom crossings.

He stressed that the facts show that the floating dock did not contribute to solving the famine crisis, especially in the northern regions of the Strip.

He added that the floating dock was used in preparation for security and military operations, and had negative effects on the Palestinian people.
