The Israeli occupation army announced that an officer was killed and his body was being held by the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip.

The occupation army said in a statement on Monday, under the permission to publish clause, that Major Muhammad al-Atrash, 39 years old, in Novolo, a resident of the Sawa al-Atrash tribe, a sergeant in the Northern Brigade in the Gaza Division, a former soldier in the Israeli Defense Forces, was killed in the battle.

The death toll of the occupation army rose to 666 since the 7th of October, 314 since the start of the ground operation on the 27th of last October.

According to the occupation army, 3,895 occupation soldiers have been injured since the start of the aggression on Gaza, the condition of 588 of whom was described as serious, 994 moderate injuries, and 2,313 minor injuries.
