Netanyahu: The dispute over delaying the delivery of American weapons will be resolved soon
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the dispute with the United States over the delay in arms deliveries will be resolved soon, amid escalating tensions between the two allies.
Netanyahu said during a meeting of his government: “About four months ago, there was a significant decrease in arms supplies coming from the United States to Israel. We received all kinds of explanations, but (..) the situation itself has not changed. In light of what I heard in the last day, "I hope and believe that this issue will be resolved in the near future."
Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper said that Netanyahu lost his temper during the cabinet meeting and shouted at the Minister of Galilee Development because of his refusal to appoint officials in the northern region.
