Netanyahu: We will not stop until we return all the kidnapped people in Gaza
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Tel Aviv will not stop until it completes the mission and returns all detainees in the Gaza Strip to their homes, after the army announced the release of 4 detainees in a military operation in the center of the Strip.
Netanyahu's statements came in an unusual way during the religious Jewish holiday of Saturday, during which he usually refrains from making any statements.
Netanyahu expressed his thanks to Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy, Shin Bet (General Security) head Ronen Bar, and the team that managed the operation in the Nuseirat camp, according to the Hebrew newspaper “Maariv.”
He added: "We are committed to doing this in the future as well. We will not stop until we complete the mission and return all the kidnapped people to their homes, whether living or dead."
Earlier Saturday, the Israeli army said in a statement on X: “In a complex operation by the army, the Shin Bet, and the police (the special police unit), four Israeli kidnappers were freed this morning from two separate areas in the heart of Nuseirat.”
According to the army statement, the four detainees are: Noa Argamani (25), Almoa Meir (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40), and their health condition is good.
He said that the four were "kidnapped" by Hamas fighters from the "Nova" concert on the seventh of last October in the Re'im settlement adjacent to the Gaza Strip.
