An Israeli soldier posts a video clip of the arrest and abuse of a Palestinian child from Qalqilya

An Israeli occupation soldier posted a video clip on social media platforms of him and other soldiers storming a house in the city of Qalqilya, arresting a child and abusing him.


The video clip showed that the occupation soldiers stormed the home of the Melhem family in the Daoud neighborhood in the city of Qalqilya, at dawn yesterday, Thursday, where they broke the door of the building with cradles, before detaining the family and arresting their child son, Majed Melhem.


The video also included a picture of the child, Melhem, blindfolded and handcuffed.


The occupation forces arrested 10 citizens during their raid into several neighborhoods in the city of Qalqilya, at dawn on Thursday, including the child Majed Melhem.


Since the start of its comprehensive aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, last October, soldiers in the occupation army have published video clips on their pages on social media platforms, showing the arrest, detention, and abuse of citizens, and tampering with the contents of the homes they stormed or destroyed in the Strip. Gaza, including children's toys, taking advantage of the policy of impunity and lack of accountability they enjoy, and the international silence that gives them the green light to continue their crimes against our people.


The video clips also include expressions inciting the killing of Palestinians, in addition to insults and profanity.

Since the start of the aggression, the occupation forces have arrested more than 3,009 citizens, including 635 children from the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, in addition to detainees from the Gaza Strip, whose number is estimated at thousands, and they face the policy of forced disappearance in the occupation camps, according to the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Prisoners’ Club. .
