Revealing the details of Hamas’ response to the negotiation paper

Al-Ghad obtained details of Hamas’ response to the negotiation paper, as the movement’s response included stopping the war on Gaza a week before the implementation of the deal began, and a clear Israeli acknowledgment of withdrawal from the Gaza Strip with international guarantees that this withdrawal would be achieved, and there are no humanitarian truces under this name, but rather a cessation. The aggression against Gaza.

The paper also emphasized freedom of movement in the Gaza Strip and allowing all displaced persons to return to their homes and areas without any conditions. From the first day of implementing the deal, aid is allowed to enter all of the Gaza Strip without dividing the Gaza Strip into security squares.

The paper included that after the first week of stopping the war on the Gaza Strip, the exchange process would begin, as Hamas does not mind that it be in installments and with international guarantees that Israel will not violate these agreements, with absolute rejection of any liberators exiting the deal outside the Palestinian territories and anyone being released in their region.

The paper demanded the release of all 57 detainees from the Shalit deal who were re-arrested as a break from the deal without being part of the deal. The detainees inside and in Jerusalem are an essential part of the deal and an Israeli veto on this criterion will not be accepted.

The paper stressed that Hamas and the resistance factions will submit the names of the batch of Israeli prisoners 48 hours before the payment is carried out, and there will be no prior lists of the number of prisoners and bodies because the census process will take more time if the war stops.

The paper said that Hamas, for the first time, presented a list of names to be the first batch for the exchange process, and it was specified as follows:

First: “160 detainees from high and old sentences, and the list begins with the following names: Marwan Barghouthi, Ahmed Saadat, Abdullah Barghouthi, Ibrahim Hamed, and Abbas Al-Sayyid, and the rest of the names on the list are in order of age and sentence without taking into account faction or geography.”

Secondly: “All women, regardless of rule, faction, or geography.”

Third: “All patients, regardless of their ruling, age, or identity, and this item is titled The Captive, Born of Accuracy.”

Fourth: “The elderly. The definition of the elderly is determined by the age of sixty and above according to international standards.”

Fifth: “All children and young people, regardless of their status and identity. The age of 18 and under has been set to define this group according to international standards.”

The paper indicated that after completing the first batch, the second batch will be moved to amid a comprehensive ceasefire agreement, achieving the complete withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip, and opening all crossings for all aid to reach the people of the Strip without Israeli control.

The movement stressed that without achieving this, the rest of the batches, which include bodies, will not be transferred.
