Hebrew media: Estimates of a ceasefire in Gaza by order of International Justice
The Hebrew Broadcasting Corporation reported that there are estimates in Tel Aviv that the International Court of Justice will order a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip after South Africa's request.
In this context, the Libyan Presidential Council announced that it would join South Africa in the genocide case against the Israeli occupation in the International Court of Justice.
For its part, the International Court of Justice confirmed that Libya submitted a declaration of intervention in the case related to the application of the Convention on the Prevention of the Crime of Genocide in Gaza.
Earlier, Turkey announced that it had decided to join South Africa in the case it filed against the Israeli occupation in the International Court of Justice.
The International Court of Justice said earlier that Israel must take all stipulated measures to prevent genocide in the Gaza Strip.
During the session of the International Court of Justice to issue its decision regarding the occupation’s aggression against the Gaza Strip, it said that the Palestinian people are protected under the Genocide Convention, and that the entity must take measures to prevent direct incitement to genocide, noting that the ruling imposes international legal obligations on “Israel.”
