UN: More than 100,000 Palestinians were displaced from Rafah
United Nations officials announced today, Friday, that about 110,000 citizens have so far been displaced from the city of Rafah, which is under attack by the Israeli occupation army, to other areas in the Gaza Strip.
The head of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Georgios Petropoulos, said, “About 30,000 people are displaced from the city every day,” explaining that “most of these people have had to be displaced five or six times since the beginning of the war on the Gaza Strip.”
