Reuters reported, citing an American official, that the decision to stop military aid to the Israeli occupation was directly linked to a call between Biden and Netanyahu a month ago.

The agency added, on Thursday, that US President Joe Biden gave Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a final warning of the necessity of protecting civilians, otherwise American policy will change.

It noted that the call between Biden and Netanyahu came shortly after the killing of seven aid workers from the World Central Kitchen in a raid in the Gaza Strip.

In a related context, the Pentagon warned that any large-scale military operation in Rafah could threaten the lives of more than a million civilians.

The Pentagon indicated that there were no discussions with Hamas regarding the sea corridor, expressing its hope that the movement would not jeopardize humanitarian aid deliveries.

The Israeli occupation refused to agree to any truce agreement before completing its military operations in Rafah, according to what was reported by the Hebrew newspaper The Times of Israel.
