Israeli fores killed two Palestinians west of Jenin city

Two resistance fighters, members of the Jenin Brigade, were killed at dawn on Saturday after engaging in clashes with the Israeli occupation forces following a shooting attack carried out at the Salem checkpoint, west of Jenin.

According to local sources, the Israeli occupation forces set up an ambush for the resistance fighters and opened fire on them, leading to the death of two of them. They indicated that the Israeli occupation forces closed the area and searched it after detaining the bodies of the two martyrs.

Red Crescent crews found traces of blood and clothes at the site of the operation after the Israeli army withdrew from that area.

The Red Crescent Society indicated that its crews transported people with moderate condition from the vicinity of the area to a hospital.

Meanwhile, the Jenin Brigade confirmed that the two dead were Mustafa Ayed from Mafardan and Ahmed Shawahna Sharaa from Silat al-Harithiya.
