Bolivia's President Luis Arce called for the necessity of taking strict measures to stop the war of extermination against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the Israeli occupation army's aggression against the Palestinian people, which led to the martyrdom of more than 34 thousand citizens, the majority of whom are children and women.

In his speech during his participation in the twenty-third summit of the Bolivarian Alliance "ALBA", which was held in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas, in the presence of the presidents of Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua, and representatives of the governments of Barbados, San Vicente, Las Granadinas, Dominicana, Santa Lucia, and Granada, the President of Bolivia called for And San Cristobal, to establish an international group to support the Palestinian people, consisting of specialists in the fields of: health, education, construction, science, technology, food production, and disasters, as well as providing graduate and university scholarships for Palestinian students.

He also called for calling on Palestine to join as a full member of the ALBA Alliance, which was formed in 2004, and is composed of the above participating countries.

He said: The humanitarian crisis that Gaza is experiencing today clearly demonstrates the deteriorating crisis that the international situation is experiencing. He also recalled all attempts to achieve lasting peace in Gaza, all of which failed, given the American position in support of Israel, especially on April 18, when the United States of America used its veto at the UN Security Council session, to prevent recognition of the full membership of the State of Palestine in the United Nations. It is an essential step towards just and lasting peace in the Middle East.

He stressed the need for the international community to demand that the Security Council play the role for which it was established, and demand its democracy.

The Bolivian President also affirmed the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, exercise their sovereignty, and recognize their full membership in the United Nations as an essential step for peace and stability in the Middle East.
