The death toll of Palestinian journalists in the Gaza Strip rose to 141

Today, Thursday, journalist Muhammad Bassam Al-Jamal died as a result of wounds he sustained as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted a house east of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, which resulted in the death of 4 other members of his family.

Thus, the death toll among journalists since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rose to 141, in addition to others who were injured after the occupation targeted their media headquarters, families and homes.

The raid that targeted the home of the Palestinian journalist yesterday evening, Wednesday, resulted in the death of his wife’s father, two of her brothers, and one of their children, in addition to the death of a little girl in a nearby house.

Journalist Muhammad Bassam Al-Jamal worked for the Palestine Now News Agency, and he also worked as a photographer and editing technician for Al-Aqsa Channel.

The Gaza Media Office had previously accused the Israeli occupation of deliberately killing journalists with the aim of distorting the Palestinian narrative, trying to obscure the truth and obstructing the delivery of news and information to regional and global public opinion.
