The Palestinian Hamas movement announced today, Saturday, that it had delivered its response to Egypt and Qatar regarding the ceasefire proposal with Israel, which it received last Monday.

This came in a statement by the movement, and Hamas said: “The movement recently submitted to the mediator brothers in Egypt and Qatar its response to the proposal that it received last Monday.”

It affirmed: "Again our adherence to our demands and the national demands of our people for a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupation army from the entire Gaza Strip, the return of the displaced to their areas and places of residence, the intensification of the entry of relief and aid, and the commencement of reconstruction."

The movement continued: "We confirm our readiness to conclude a serious and real prisoner exchange deal between the two parties."
